Janet is the President and Executive Chairman, and Chief and Permanent Representative to the United Nations and Permanent Observer to the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) at Foundation for the Support of the United Nations (FSUN). Since her appointment in 2006, Janet has built a solid ecosystem of deep, meaningful connections and influencers in the global diplomatic community, and continues to be a strong voice for public-private partnerships inside the United Nations.
Her commitment to influencing state leadership decisions to foster strong global multi-sector partnerships have led to many tangible collaborations with different Missions to the United Nations. Janet is also widely known for bringing the business and private sector perspective inside the United Nations by convening global forums and dialogues around global issues in partnership with UN entities, UN Missions and Fortune 500 companies.
She is the CEO and Co-Founder of IMPACT Leadership 21™, a global platform providing leadership solutions that drive change toward inclusive and sustainable economies. As a sought-after public-private partnerships specialist in the global field, Janet is an advisor to a select number of international entities, CEOs and influencers in the inclusion, innovation, leadership, infrastructure development, impact investment and philanthropy space.
Janet is the creator of the innovative dialogue series, Conversations With Men™, the pioneering and groundbreaking executive forum with the mission of engaging men in leadership roles to accelerate women's leadership at the top, and achieving gender equality. Janet also created Conversations With Men™ One on One: Navigating Gender Dialogue in a Woman's World, an intensive executive coaching platform where she advises male leaders on how to effectively handle gender-related challenges in the business environment, and thrive in today's increasingly diverse workplace.
As a Certified Executive and Master Coach Trainer, she trains senior executives maximize their abilities to coach and unleash the potential of emerging leaders. Through RESORT, a proven success model framework she developed, she helps her clients focus on what is genuinely important to them - personally and professionally.
A writer by heart, Janet is currently working on her first book project, collaborating with some of the most brilliant minds and thought leaders in the field of diplomacy, leadership, innovation, inclusion, philanthropy, arts, economics and governance. Janet loves horses, cars and the marina . She enjoys polo and all equestrian activities, fishing, boat sightings, reading, music and the arts, movies, running and country side driving. Janet is above all a passionate advocate and defender of the right to freedom in all forms. She lives in New York City where she spends most of her time when not traveling.
