LAUNCH OF THE ANNUAL POWER OF COLLABORATION GLOBAL SUMMIT, 26 FEBRUARY 2014
Global leaders and multi-stakeholders from both public and private sectors will gather at this high-level event to discuss and leverage new, innovative approaches of collaboration as key to accelerating women's leadership at the highest levels of influence.
This year’s POWER of COLLABORATION launch will also highlight IMPACT Leadership 21’s support and commitment to taking action on the “Post-2015 UN Development Agenda. In particular, toward the following component of the outcome document adopted by United Nations Member States in September 2013:
Global Partnership for Development
“We underline the central role of a strengthened global partnership for development. We recognize the importance of national ownership, and emphasize that if the MDGs are to be achieved by 2015, national efforts need to be assisted by international support and an enabling international environment. The mobilization and effective use of all resources, public and private, domestic and international, will be vital.”
